There was a time early in my career when I walked into a room ready to prove myself. My presence was on point, my talking points memorized. My energy? It matched my personality, quiet POWER, yet approachable. I believed I had done everything right.
But before I opened my mouth, I could feel the temperature of the room. People had already decided something about me. Not because of what I said, but because of what they saw.
That day changed everything.
I realized that my image told much about me, our presence is already communicating. It tells a story about our confidence, credibility, and self-awareness. It determines whether people lean in or tune out, often within seconds.
Presence Is More Than Poise
Presence isn’t being loud or dominating a space. It’s about alignment, your energy, appearance, and intention should tell the same story.
