Meet Our Founder
Jenny Dewberry is the visionary CEO and Founder of PeoplePower Consultancy®. She is an Elite Certified Image Consultant, a proud member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), and a beacon of empowerment and inspiration for women ready to step into their full potential.
Jenny’s journey into the world of image and personal transformation didn’t begin in a boardroom or on a stage; it began in the aisles of a fashion retailer when she was just a teenager. Even then, she wasn’t simply folding clothes; she was witnessing something powerful:
how a woman’s confidence can shift instantly when she sees herself differently.
That early spark became her lifelong passion.
After a few years in retail, Jenny stepped into the corporate world. Banking taught her more than professionalism; it revealed the unspoken rules of presence. She learned how posture changes perception, how polish opens doors, and how confidence commands respect. And yet, the pull toward beauty, self-expression, and personal transformation never left her.
Answering that call, Jenny enrolled in cosmetology school and earned her degree as a Licensed Managing Cosmetologist. In 1994, she began styling hair, but what she was truly shaping was identity: Confidence. Visibility. Empowerment.
Her ambition soon led to entrepreneurship. Jenny owned and operated two successful salons before relocating to Seattle, where she joined the iconic Nordstrom and later, Neiman Marcus, refining her expertise in luxury service, high-level presentation, and the nuanced art of image and style.
As she worked with women across industries and stages of life, Jenny discovered a deeper truth:
Image isn’t just about appearance; it’s how you see yourself and how the world experiences you.
When inner confidence doesn’t match outward presence, opportunities are missed and potential remains untapped. This realization inspired her next chapter: Image Consulting and Image Management Strategy, a holistic approach that blends beauty, branding, etiquette, and leadership presence to transform women from the inside out.
With over 30 years of customer service experience, 35 years of business ownership, and decades in corporate and luxury settings, Jenny brings unmatched depth to her work. She trained under industry pioneer Dr. Joyce Knudsen, Ph.D., AICI CIM, earning her Elite International Image Consultant Certification, and also holds Professional Etiquette and Soft Skills Certifications.
Jenny has spoken on stages, led workshops, and guided leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals in transforming not just their image but their confidence, presence, and impact.
